Trailhead is on left before the picnic area. Park on the right next to a faded orange gait. This is a hike in the woods pretty much straight up the mountain. one nice vista near the top. The trail meets a gravel road at the top, no view. Good hike for the bliss of the walk, spring wildflowers and one nice view spot.

This trail is in the Greenbrier State Forest and can be used as part of Kate's Mountain Loop. You travel essentially straight up the side of Kate's Mountain but neither myself nor my dog had too much trouble.
