This trail was called Grey Flats North & South Trail. Pretty neat, seen several caves but didnt explore. The entrance to the trail was behind the soccer field and is a bit rocky at first but then the trail is very easy to negotiate. The trail splits into another trail a little ways into it for 1.3 miles called Piney Bluff.

Great everyday trail with enough technical to keep your wits about. Well maintained and marked. Hard to get lost with the closed loop design.

Latest trail addition of the Piney Creek trail system at the YMCA Soccer complex. The trail is being referred to as the "Wild Thing or Wildflower Trail" This trail is a 2.6 mile out and back at this point. The trail head is off of the Grey Flats South trail. Beautiful entry that has short steep sections down to a old logging or mining bench. The rest of the trail follows the contour of the bench through portions of the Piney Creek and Cranberry Creek Gorge. Entire trail is wooded and passes beautiful and impressive rock formations. Especially magnificent is view from below of Piney Point. Plenty of Rhododendron line the path with a few sections through Rhodo tunnels. A few old car and van bodies are also along the path. In the fall and winter the trail will provide vistas into the gorges. This trail offers the best glimpse of nature of all the trails at the soccer complex.

Grey Flats Trail, then onto Little Stone Wall loop. Nice, easy, well-maintained. Good for dog walking if that's your thing.

Had a great time riding the trails, nice upkeep, like the wood bridges that crossed the large mudd areas.

Decent trail. Tight in spots and not very picturesque. You're basically running through dense forest. Lots of rocks and low areas on the trail to watch for of after a rain. If you're biking, there are branches and logs across the trail in a few spots. Beware!
