Great trail for kids. It was flooded due to heavy rainfall the week but it was still great!

Falls can be accessed by folks of all skill levels. You can hang back and enjoy from the boardwalk, or it also gives entry points off the boardwalk to go off and explore the falls from a closer distance. If you go off-trail be cautious as the rocks are very slippery close to the water. The island loop trail is nice but needs to be marked a bit more clearly. There’s two forks that led to dead ends and I had to go back the other way. Luckily it’s not a hard nor long trail at all. Beautiful way to spend an afternoon.

Construction on the boardwalk is creating an updated version of the existing boardwalk. The trail is accessible, short, and offers beautiful views of the falls. Hikers can follow short paths to rocks closer to the water and the falls, but use caution when getting closer to the water- dangerous currents are just offshore and the rocks in the water are slippery. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the many flat rocks in view of the falls.

Beautiful views of the waterfalls. In addition to the .4 mile boardwalk, there is a .5 mile Island Loop Trail that gives you some exposure to the river and native flora. Easy to do in flip flops. Really lovely leg stretcher!

This is a great little hike on a boardwalk to see the falls. My kids loved exploring the little beach out cove.

beautiful view, the drive down Irish Mountain was atrocious would recommend truck, 4×4, or off road vehicle otherwise find alternate route because rd is highly washed out and cars will not make it. otherwise trail was well made and waterfalls were amazing
