Not very difficult even for a beginner one hill in one hill out. Makes for a quick hike and includes a creek crossing.

Decent trail and a fun day hike, but the campground is definitely over priced for all it is. ($24 per night)

The Maple, Laurel, White Oak Trail is a great combination out-and-back hike starting at the Maple Trail Trailhead near the restrooms off rt. 12. The highlight would be the White Oak section that parallels the picturesque Tomlinson Run. There are several other trails throughout the park.
