All the trails at the Summit are great. This is not open to the public but is to those that visit through a Scouting activity at the camp. I actually worked there this summer and for the World Scout Jamboree. There are some parts that are steep, some that are in open areas, typically you will get a chance to see deer and some bears. Most trails have loose gravel and some do need some TLC.

Wow, my wife, daughter, and I were so looking forward to walking the 9.8 mile loop. We stopped at the gaurd shack and was told that unless you're a boy scout or affiliated, you can't even pass the shack, to hike any of the nice looking trails at Summit Betchel.
