South Prong shares its trail head with another trail called Boars Nest. Both trails are marked as starting here but in different locations. It is easy to stumble onto Boars Nest and not even know it. There are two shallow stream crossings one road crossing and some road walking. We did t stumble on any overlooks but we didn't opt to explore any spurs after our first mishap. Moderate climb. Lots of fun and would do it again.
