Make sure you take head lamps...it gets a little dark in the overgrown forest.

We decided to walk back to the trailhead from where wildlife trail meets the forest road. even with a long road walk, the trail was very relaxing. not alot of elevation, but the tricky parts were how muddy parts of the trail were, and the rattlesnakes. we came across 3! wear shoes you dont mind getting wet and watch for the snakes. the cliffs are a beautiful lunch stop and there are some pretty meadows to camp along the trail. we had a sunny warm day for this hike which felt ideal. would be a more challenging day if it was wet or very windy.

Great hike. Pretty easy going for the most part. Went after a week of nonstop rain so there were a few water crossings that probably wouldn’t have been too bad if it hadn’t rained so much. Wasn’t able to cross Red Creek at the end of the trail due to so much recent rain. Camped out in a thicket just yards from the cliffs. Beautiful spot. Will be back.

We took wildlife trail to rohrbaugh trail and turned around after eating lunch with a gorgeous view on the cliffs (2.3 miles one way to the cliffs). Both trails were mostly easy hiking. It was slightly rocky at times with an incline on the way back. We went during a dry stretch for that area and the ground was still a bit soggy in places. We brought our 1 year old (in a hiking pack) and our 4-year-old (hiking) along with us and they loved it! We will be doing this one again.

Beautiful walk through a rhododendron forest (about 3 miles) to a beautiful scenic overlook. Walk out another 1.5 miles or so to the fire road.

We took the Fisher Spring Run trail to the Rohrbaugh Trail, to get to the Rohrbaugh Cliffs. Wow, what a scenic hike! The Fisher Spring Run trail is lush with ferns and rhododendron. The cliffs were excellent, and there are several nice campsites very close to the overlook.

This was a great day hike through scenic forest that opens up to rocky bluffs with outstanding views. You can do this hike as a return, but we found it easier to take the game trail out to the road and walk back to the parking area that is right across from the trail head.
