We thought we got there early (around 10) and there were about ten vehicles. we spotted only a few groups on the trail but as we were leaving (around 1300) it got busy. I suggest going earlier or go during a weekday.

It was a good hike- we had to cut it short as the thunder that had been threatening all afternoon let loose as soon as we got to the top. It started off with a steep incline but levels out at the top.

Great trail for a fall day.

Started at wolf gap with a teep incline for about a mile. Trail levels off foe the most part. If you're up early enough you're treated with east views of the sunrise and morning mist. Pass the big scloss cutoff and continue another three miles.

You'll eventually hit the trail marker for the Tuscarora.

I returned be the same trail.

There were lots of trees Dow from either the derecho or Sandy.

neat way to get down Mill Mountain, i say down because there wouldn't be a flat spot to rest going up! Nice for a trail run as well.
