This is the long way starting at the Beech Fork trailhead parking, and making the counterclockwise circle on the Lost Trail to the Mary Davis trail, and back to and finishing on the eastern end of the Lost Trail. It can get muddy in spots, and there are several creek crossing on the southbound leg up Mary Davis Branch.

A good trail with lake views. A campground is at the trailhead. Lots of families out on the beginning/end of the loop, but not many people on this trail once you get a few miles in. There is cell service on this trail so you can use this app and check maps. Get outside! :)

This is a fairly low traffic trail - more mountain bikers than hikers. There are a few places where there are forks in the trail, but it is pretty well marked. The good news is, the many unmarked trails you come across all eventually lead back to the main trail - but some are several miles long! Be sure to download the map so you can find your way if you venture off the marked trail.
