I was looking for Lindy Point trail when I found Lindy Run. Lindy Point is the easy hike, Lindy Run is much longer, lightly trafficked, and moderate. Unfortunately I ran out of time so I could not complete the trail, which intersects Plantation trail and can lead to Lindy Point. Not recommended after a rain, as the trail was very muddy in some places with lots of puddles (unless you like that, like me!)

Used this app for directions to trail head and couldnt find it. Ended up hiking an old dirt road used for 4x4 and secluded camp sites. Suggest confirming directions to trailhead first.

Very easy out and back trail in Blackwater Falls State Park. Suitable for dogs (on leash or under owner's control), kids, and my moderately fit 74 year old mother. Relatively flat, with a couple of small hills. There are rocks and tree roots on the path, so it is definitely a hike, versus a walk. Path wanders through the forests of Blackwater Falls and ends at gorgeous views of the gullies. Stacked stones mark the turn off to the views.

The trail was incredibly washed out- even before the sign that says "The USFS no longer maintains the trail past this point." Leisurely grade, but difficult to stay out of the water- not recommended for winter hiking.
