This trail as traced is not entirely the honeymoon trail. It starts with the Allegheny trail, follows the Honeymoon trail for a bit, then follows the Ten Acre trail. The start was difficult to find just off of a gravel road (side gravel road parking only) and was difficult to follow. The signs are for Allegheny Trail and the first part of the trail we used the blazes to follow the path. Before you drive to the starting point, there is a Y intersection where going straight is on a gravel road (and the road indicated in this trace). There is space in the intersection to park and you can pick up the Allegheny trail here. I recommend that, as the trail is much more clear and easy to follow. Follow the Allegheny trail for a bit and you will run into the Honeymoon trail. That trail is a loop that takes you in part through a cabin campground, but the scenery is really nice and is more lush than the rest of the trail. I recommend the Allegheny trail starting from the Y intersection, then take the Honeymoon trail loop.

Beautiful forest views. Really well marked and well worn. Lots of steady inclines.
