This is an easy leg stretcher. The trail winds through a beautiful forest with mild ups and downs. It ends on a point of land jutting out from the "mainland" to provide marvelous views to the south and southeast. We were there on a spectacular fall late afternoon. The lighting on the clouds and mountains (views all the way to the Virginia mountains in the distance) was breathtaking. Parking is limited.
