My boyfriend and I hiked this in August. The falls were completely dried up. Nonetheless, it was a pretty little hike. Just a bummer because we hiked specifically to see the falls.

I went on this trail bc of the name, I never found the falls. Not sure if it is just flowing during heavy rain times, but didn’t ever see it. The trail was definitely good exercise but that was about it. Try a different trail.

Walk up Polly Hollow, hang the right up the hill for hemlock falls & up you go. Runs from Polly Hollow to the top of the mountain & intersects the park border road. Was pretty wet slogging in places, even though it had not rained in days. Worth it, once you get near the top. Beautiful at the rocks, but no really good place to stop until the top of the trail.
