Virginius Island Trail to Maryland Heights Trail. Take a walk through Harpers Ferry Trails. Harpers Ferry town is dog friendly. The trails are well shaded until you walk on the bridge towards the Maryland Heights trail. Enjoy the day walking or jogging through the trails.

The 6 year old died so I don't think you should bring fellow 6 year olds but the 10 year old did amazing and did not need a break

This was a lot of fun to walk with my sons. The cut stone stairs to the visitors center, though, were hard on the knees
