Beautiful area, but the trail was muddy and overgrown. Definitely not good for mountain biking in July.

Grass up to waist. Not good or safe in June. Turned around after walking a mile and it not improving. Would have been nice if it had been cut.

Really enjoyed this hike... lots of open areas, streams, and peaceful surroundings. Great hike if you just want to walk and meditate. Very easy with just a couple easy hills. Saw some black bear scat but never encountered the bear. I will definitely do this again... think it would be fun with a group. Only downside is at the end of the trail you have to walk about a mile on a gravel road that was boring if you have two cars leave one at each end to avoid this.

Great light hike. Needs a little TLC.

Really nice easy trail that gives beautiful views of the Cranberry Botanical Area. I took my parents and boyfriend on the trail, they don't hike often, and they loved it! Its well marked, the only thing to be aware of is it is boggy in several areas. Would highly recommend to both avid hikers and new comers. Would be a great trail for kids.

Walked the trail at a somewhat leisurely pace, saw several deer. Started at the Upper gate parking lot. Walked down the Cranberry River Road to the beginning of the Cow Pasture Trail. Toward the end before reaching the forest service road the trail was very wet. Something to keep in mind-waterproof footwear. A Nice hike but would have been nice to have been able to follow a trail instead of the road back to the car.
