Un Great trail! We did this trail with our dog and friends and we really enjoyed it! Definitely wearing hiking boots as there are a lot of rocks and it’s not paved. We really recommend it!

Hiked this trail many times. On off days, you might have the trail to yourself.

Trail was great once we found it. There were some odd trails signs out there. There must have been an event recently. We did it enjoy it for a first time hiking here and learning the trails. We will be back since this park is 20 minutes from our home.

Great trail! Well marked which was good because the leaves have definitely fallen and cover the trail n places. Wear good ankle support boots as the rocky path is covered too! Trail was not crowded, only saw 4 other people and the Fall colors were amazing!

fall foliage was fantastic. didn't complete the loop, instead returned by the road, because I was worried about it getting dark. absolutely gorgeous.

The beginning of the trail has been recently rerouted. It is clearly marked with flags and signs but All Trails will give you a lot of “off trail” alerts. Follow the red blazes. There are some turns and switchbacks so pay attention to the map. Mid October is peak fall foliage and is breath taking! I would rate the trail on the easy side of moderate. I went on a week day and saw no one else on the trail.

The trail is not “easy”, but there is a good variety of trail types in this loop. There is a reroute at the beginning but it’s well marked. One of the signs near the cabins was also facing the wrong direction so we got lost for a short distance, but over all, a nice trail. It took about 3 hours with a break for a snack.

Great trail near Berkeley Springs. Moderate difficulty, took us a little over 3 hours but we don't hike often. Not a lot of views but it was pretty. Fairly well marked. Saw deer and a snake.

Beautiful day with hardly anyone on the trail. Accurately described. We went in at the Batt parking lot which is right in the middle of the trail and walked the loop that way. Just when the inclines were getting tiring...they leveled out for nice stretches of flat walking.

Moderate hike with areas of steep inclines. Took our dog who did well! Looks like they are in process of rerouting central trail and it’s not quite lined up with AllTrails. We followed AllTrails and all was fine.

The trail has a good mix of easy and moderate sections. There is a fairly rugged, rocky climb coming up from the lake toward the North Fork cabin area.. Most of the trail has gently slopes. Beautiful views of the reservoir. The only other person I saw was on a kayak on the lake.

Great trail. Started by walking across dam of fishing lake to trail head. Gentle elevation changes with the majority a flat walk. Lovely overlook with massive boulders. Totally shaded. Signage in places could have been better but used this app to guide us back. Would hike it again.
