Not for the faint at heart. The mileage was off. Total trip was 5.4 miles. The last 0.4 mile prior to the crest was practically straight up. If it had not been for the horse traffic, the foot path would have been overgrown. We started with a temp of 97. That did not help matters. Wooded trail with a few rock formations here and there, 4 small stream crossings.
