Depending on your endurance, it can be a tough hike because the trail slope is exactly as described. Very clearly marked and mostly shaded. The view from the lookout tower is definitely worth it. Everyone with me on the trail all agreed that it’s over a mile to the top (from their smart watches and such), so expect the climb to take three times longer than the descent.

A pretty steep climb starting from the campground. Not super hard but it is as described- a 1 mile uphill hike. The view at the top is worth the hike. There is also a geocache nearby for those who cache.

I would not actually rate this trail as easy. Though short, it is a pretty steep uphill climb.
