Managed to squeeze in a little hike before the rains hit again :-) at the young age of 55 I decided to take up hiking and this is one of my first hikes. Did about 3 MI a little bit muddy but not bad. on a Thursday afternoon it was nice and peaceful. I do recommend it!

This loop was not as pretty as the other loops we've been on in this park. The path on Alltrails that goes through Ephemeral trail is really beautiful, but this side of the park wasn't as breathtaking. Instead of going down the Lloyd trail to loop back, we went down the Forest Ridge trail and that was really beautiful! Take the extra detours and don't just stick on the prescribed trail... It's much more fun that way!

Barely anybody on the Wetland Plateau which was good because it's slightly over grown in some areas. Nice shady trail with not too many people on a Monday.

Loved this trail. A great loop for a quick hike with the puppy and the kids. A little muddy in spots.

A very nice little hike through a wooded area. The trail is shared with mountain bikers who come around corners fast. Not a problem if you are hiking in a small group, but add a few people and a couple dogs and it is going to take you more than a second to get out of the way. The features are nice though, if not a little simple. Good for a quick pull over and walk but not a serious day hike. Dog-wise, trails are very narrow and crowded, so if you have an unfriendly dog, be sure to plan for that.

This is an awesome place for walking/hiking. I just love the clear signage and multiple options throughout the park. One could come here a 100x and never take the exact same route through the trails. On the shared hiking/bike trails you have to be alert for the wheeled travelers, but there are also plenty of foot-traffic only trails. Many trails are difficult, if not impossible, to physical distance if you meet fellow travelers going opposite directions, so be aware. But, this is one Nola and I will be heading back to again and again to try different routes through. Many muddy spots that will likely get better as we get into summer months, but definitely not an issue. Just wear trail shoes, not court shoes. :)

Great trail for a family walk- we only saw a few other people and there was shade on a sunny day! There are a lot of bugs so if that bothers you wearing bug spray is not a bad idea!

Wonderful day for a short walk in the woodlands! A little muddy in spots but very much doable at any age or skill level.
