This is a great trail!! Trailhead is about a half mile past the hurricane ridge visitors center, on the day we hiked it the Whiskey road end trailhead was not accessible so we hiked down from hurricane ridge and then back up. Parts of the trail especially down by Whiskey road were over grown and there were several downed trees along the way but nothing out or the ordinary. Definitely pack a lunch and enjoy the seclusion, we didn’t see anyone for 6 hours.
