It was gorgeous and we had the 13 mile walk to ourselves. Flat and peaceful. Hardly any views of the mountains though. Some river views. I wouldn’t do the hike again, but the drive in was well worth it. The views from the amphitheater were great, which is about 3 miles in. Once you’ve hit the amphitheater you’ve pretty much seen what the hike has to offer. I recommend turning around there.

All around beautiful trail! The drive in Darrington is worth the trip itself, what a awesome time. I can't wait to go back. Very easy and flat. My daughter, dog, and I went on March 4th so there was snow on the trail but still fun.

Beautiful flat very easy near the river, if you're expecting a challenge you probably want to little more

This is a long and very flat trail and the views are spectacular! We didn't see anyone else there on Friday, April 1st but it looks like a poplar horse trail. It would also be good for mountain biking. We walked from a trailhead in town to the amphitheatre where we had lunch while looking up at Whitehorse mountain.
