A very pretty trail, well-maintained, but it does NOT go all the way through to Fish Lake. Was extremely disappointed about that.

We trail skate (roller skate) this trail fairly frequently, though it’s not the best trail for that, it’s just close. It is ever so busy lately, and impossible to social distance on. The traffic lately is anxiety provoking. It is easy, it’s a place I take people that have never been hiking before, or that I want to be able to focus more on chatting than walking.

Running

This path is awesome for anyone looking to get in a quality long run, mile repeats/workout, a nice walk and/or bike ride! It also connects to some dirt roads if you wanted to hop off the path for some softer surfaces. Enjoy!

If you like pine trees and trains this is the trail for you:). Not a bad trail for biking or running, but not so much hiking.

Nicely paved out and back trail. Great for a quick run or road ride. Unfortunately car break ins at the trail head are a thing. Don’t leave anything of value in your car. The first couple miles can be crowded at times but the farther you go, the less people you will see. I wish the trail continued to Fish Lake.

Just a nice little paved trail, good for families, perfect for eating lunch, walking, biking or fishing.

Hiking

Very gradual incline, easy for biking and jogging. Be weary of the first 2.5 miles, there are quite a few homeless people and some urban campers. I wouldn’t call it a woodland trail, it is close to a highway and two train tracks. More of a wooded city trail. Still a fairly easy and accessible one to do.

More of a green belt walk/ride path. Too much traffic noise to be a “hike”.

Not my cup of tea. The trail is set alongside the freeway so the entire thing is flooded with the sounds of heavy traffic.

A fun trail to walk, run, or bike on. Very slow incline out so it’s not too hard of a ride. Beautiful views.

This is a great biking trail. From time-to-time, you’ll meet hitchhikers going somewhere...

Don’t park here!!! My car was broken into and they took everything. They even ripped off my bike rack and took two bikes that were locked on. Be careful!!!

Trail is great for running and biking and has quickly become a staple for warm weather exercise due to the convenient location. For the section that it parallels 195 or the train tracks it can be a little loud if there's traffic or trains passing by. There are also some homeless folk that inhabit spots just off the trail closer to the city, so if you have a low tolerance for that sort of thing then maybe you avoid it or bring a friend or dog.

The trail was pretty nice. It was paved and perfect for biking, but we were walking. This made the fact that the trail runs right along the highway irritating, but other than that it was pretty good

I've hiked and biked this train many times, and always has something new to offer each time. Great for bird watching, and wildlife viewing. Bring sunscreen.
