Beautiful trees and lookout spots along the way!

Easy trail. The map this app has highlighted is all paved however yet the pictures people post aren’t. A lot of the actual trail wasn’t matching up with the map.

Enjoyed the trail, but wish it was more secluded. Very populated. Great for all skill types, dog and kid friendly. Beautiful view. Signage and bathrooms/ porta potties throughout the park.

First time in the area and my dog and I really enjoyed the hike. We used the trails and we found the signage to be good. It took us less than expected to do the loop. We would definitely come back.

We got a late start today so this hike/walk was a great fit into a dry, fall afternoon. I did download a park map but due to time (and never having down the trail system before) we utilized both the paved loop as well as the trails. Hiked with two kids, aged 5 and 7, who had fun. They are experienced hikers so this was an easier outing for them. Lots of lovely views and we even saw two black oyster catchers resting on rocks down by the water. A highlight!

As a beginner to running I found the hills challenging but the trail was paved and simple for me to follow. Great views.

Great views. Lots of cars today. We’d definitely go again.

Most of the trail is along a road but when you get to a viewpoint they’re pretty gorgeous. Also nice to have a playground at the parking lot to ensure we wore the 3-year-old out before driving back home.

Not a good route for trail running. The path separates and just goes to random cliffs and leads to nowhere, hard to stay on the main trail. Pretty views on the water though.

Great family hike. We did this hike with a five year old and a 4 year old. We suggest you take the side trail to the point where the view of the sound was great.

The park is beautiful and has great views all around. The trail is a good running trail, it's also good for a nice little walk. But if you're looking for something a bit challenging, then this wouldn't be a good trail.

The park offers different trails from easy on the paved loop trail to moderate when taking the spur trails along the lower perimeter trails nest to the water. All the trails have wonderful views of the San Juan Islands and beyond.

One of our favorites around this area. You can either hike it or just stay in the car and enjoy the paved trail. Either way, it is beautiful no matter the time of year.

Great walk. However it is NOT 4.7 miles. It is 2.4 miles to loop around the park following the road.

Trail starts on the paved single lane road then you see a spur off of the road onto the dirt about 1mile

Beautiful and great for a good walk with friends. Can climb down to the beach, play in tide pools, and enjoy quite a view at one point.

Nice trail system. I agree with another reviewer that the markings are a bit tough to follow. Also, there is a "loop road" that the mountain (and road) bikers use. the trail system around the park is fairly narrow, and you wouldn't use them for biking.

Beautiful. There are many trails in the park...good luck figuring out the trail markers though. Read the story on my blog. http://kellbell-whywouldanyonereadthis.blogspot.com/2012/04/first-hike-of-2012.html

Very scenic & peaceful! I do however believe the trail is a shorter distance though.
