Quiet wetlands in the middle of a big university and city. Saw an osprey, turtle and ducks. Will try the canoe rental next time.

I am a UW student an I walked this trail once. It surprising to see how much is back here; there is an urban farm area and other UW buildings. The trail is frequented by athletes, so it is busy. The trail was soggy due to recent rains, but it was a cool experience nonetheless - there is a lot of effort put into the restoration process and it shows. It is nice to know that places like these exist on campus.
