Directions from Iron Creek: Follow Forest Route 25 south for approximately five miles to Forest Route 99. Follow 99 southwest past Miner's Car Interpretive Site, the Independence Pass Trailhead and the Windy Ridge Viewpoint to the trailhead (called Windy Ridge Trailhead). Directions From Randle, drive south on Forest Road 25 to its junction with FR 99 (just past Iron Creek Falls). Turn right (west) onto FR 99 and drive to the road-end viewpoint and Windy Ridge trailhead.
