The Birthday Tour is a 4 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Gilbert, Washington that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for nature trips, downhill skiing, and snowboarding and is best used from October until March.

This tour requires careful consideration of the snow stability as there are numerous avalanche chutes along the route. The route climbs two high ridges with long descents on the opposite side. It is a true ski safari. The tour involves a car shuttle from the hairpin turn of just east of the Washington pass back to the start of the tour at the Blue Lake trailhead on Highway 20.
