It was difficult on the switch backs...but other than that a great work out. However, the falls were dried up, so in the end there wasn’t that satisfaction of working that hard to get to the end :(

Falls were not much more than a trickle as other reviews warned. Still a good quick workout. Wide trail and easy incline until a right turn up a fairly rocky trail leading to several switchbacks and the falls. I’d consider coming back to go all the way on to Mount Teneriffe from the falls, but maybe in the early spring in order to more water on the falls.

the first mile an a half is nice an easy pretty wide an not too many rocks in the pathway, then the last mile in a half is nothing but much bigger rocks as the pathway an becomes very narrow not many places to go to the side to rest, the falls itself wasn't that impressive as the last time I was here.

Like everyone has mentioned VERY rocky but otherwise beautiful. The walls were moderate (not too dry, not very big either). Really enjoyed it.

The last 0.7 mile is rocky and steep. The waterfall has no enough water to make a fall, due to the dry days recently.

Our recorded mileage was slightly longer than the estimate but who knows. Trail was well-maintained and not too crowded — even for a beautiful weekend in the midst of all this COVID stuff. Some of the switchbacks were a little confusing and we wound up off-trail at least once. Nevertheless, the falls were a wonderful place to enjoy our lunch, and our boys (8 & 12) managed the hike like champs.

Parking lot was full at 10:30 on a Friday but that could also be because of the holiday weekend at the time! Was a challenging hike but the views were super cool!

First section of the hike is a well grows trail with relatively gentle grades. Once you hit the switchbacks it all changes. The trail becomes rocky and steeper, crossing multiple talus slopes. The falls are stunning, even with a lower summer flow. Arrived at the trailhead at 10am on a Friday and it was barely 25% full.
