Lovely area but the trail is in horrible need of maintenance. Downed trees, a giant washout, and broken bridges. Since this is a rest area for passers-by, they should have signs to let folks know the upper trail is not suitable for children or those with mobility concerns. The falls are still accessible and gorgeous as always.

Been here a number of times in the past (my first time back in five years!). There are some down trees on the upper falls path, and the steps up to the elevated bridge on the path to the upper falls is down (you can walk around it from behind). Seems like the trail needs a bit of maintenance, which is why I have an otherwise scenic hike four stars. Despite the obstacles, I never get tired of the falls. It's always fun to play with camera shutter speed to see what kinds of pictures I can get. The All Trails path is kind of weird. I'm not sure who designed it, but part of it looks like it wants you to wade through the water across the lower falls. You can follow all of the steps, just with some doubling back, for certified completeness.

HikingBridge outGreat!Muddy

Short hike, there is a bridge down for repairs but we easily made our way around it (two middle aged men, a 12 year old, and a 20 year old). A little muddy but one in our party managed in flip flops. Beautiful view of the falls, access to the lower level is a little steep but worth an attempt. A tad overgrown but easy to follow.

Lovely short hike for little ones, it was perfect for my toddler. Some mosquitoes today. Mostly shaded and the waterfall at the end of the trail helps cool the air on a hot day.
