It’s a nice trail, but pretty boring on the way up. The views really aren’t exceptional at the top. I probably won’t go for a do-over.

Nice little hike with a bit of a climb. Muddy in spots, but overall in great condition. View from the top is nice, but not amazing.

Slippery! Half the trail above the river was basically running as a stream.

Slushy at bottom, transitioned to all snow on the way up. Boot pack is good but will be icy if it refreezes. Left TH at 2PM. Saw 4 peeps coming down on our way up, 1 coming up on our way down. Great quick conditioner. View is what you would expect on this part of the I-90 corridor. Picnic table up top.

The fall leaves were pretty but the trail was a bit too crowded and the overlook was overgrown. It’s still a nice and easy little hike for getting out in nature for a few hours.

Good close in location to get in some trail time. Lots of nice yellows and huge leaves in the fall. A few muddy spots but not bad. Hiked 10/23.

Decent hike, not much of a view today and does not appear that there would be a great view on a sunny day, but nice easy family hike and well marked trails

Hiked in rain, trail has decent overhead coverage. The overlook is small, but at least it’s something at the end. Good trail for beginner hikers to practice a little elevation and/or getting back into shape. Can make this trail longer if you want more of work out by continuing on.

Not much of a view. Lots of trees in the way of the “view”

Good day hike. Trail was somewhat narrow in spots due to summer vegetation but not quite overgrown. Slope is moderate but just keeps going. Be sure to bring water if it is at all warm and remember to take breaks. View from the top was worth the climb.

Decent trail to do with the kids - short, not too steep. We didn't have problems with bikes, just ran into them when hiking and biking trails crossed.

Nice beginner trail with a great view at the end! Took my wife and two daughters (4 and 7) and had no problem with the hike.

better for hikers to stay off the mountain bike trails, as the people riding them tend to go fast and dont expect to see someone on them.

A pretty hike up, but not much of a viewpoint in the end. Parking lot was insanely full on the weekend due to the mountain bike park on the same part of the mountain. Keep your eyes open for the “Stan’s Overlook” sign at one of the street crossings after the signs begin to stop saying the mileage for Stan’s. The lookout is even more overgrown so there’s not much open view, but overall a nice way to escape into nature for a quick break from the city.
