Squaw Lake Via Cathedral Pass Trail is a 5.2 mile out and back trail located near North Bend, Washington that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from July until October.
The directions for the lake took us to the middle of nowhere by the Snoqualmie river! We asked around the area - no one knew what we were talking about. Did more research on the lake itself and it was nowhere near the pin on the map.....
Great hike, good fishing
Squaw Lake was a beautiful place to camp. 4 friends and I went up for Labor Day weekend. As we did not expect what the hike was like, we definitely over packed. It was a long and miserable hike for us, but getting there made the whole trip worth it ! Will definitely be prepared for my next visit !!
This is a great day hike for the family, or a beginners overnight. It's an entirely forested trail, so if you're looking for views, you need to go 2 more miles up the trail to Cathedral Rock.
