I extended this walk by adding a large chunk of the Ben Burr Trail. Ben Burr didn't greatly impress me, but the river loop is very nice.

Nice because there are many things to do nearby, but not for those seeking a nature walk. Plus, there's lots of construction in the park right now.

This is a wonderful loop if you want something that's short, paved and romantic. Approximately an hour at a very slow leisure pace. Closer to 30 minutes at a fast pace.

This is a paved trail in the heart of Spokane. It is a great spot for walking, jogging, or riding a bike. There are nice views of the Spokane River. There is ample parking nearby.
