Grew up walking that trail. Very family friendly. Beautiful trees and lake.

Nice walking path, but it is crowded and you do have to pay $3 to get into the park. The dogs loved being able to swim in the lake.

This is better for those wanting to sit by the lake or hangout with a group at a park. I would not recommend this for walking/running because it was crowded and no destination/ view. We had our young kids and they were able to walk the trail just fine. It was too loud and crowd for our preference as well as a $3 fee to park.

We did the Bresemann Forest Trail almost across the street and decided to add this one afterwards as it was so close. We are so glad we did! It’s funny that we have never ever been here before as it’s only 15 minutes away.... This park is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. We enjoyed walking the paved trail at the parking entrance. So when you enter, park in the first parking lot on the right. First you stroll around the pond and then you make your way to the lake, which is beautiful. We saw lots of people fishing and enjoying their day like we were. Being a Sunday, it was not crowded at all, like I would have expected it to be. Lots of bathroom facilities (although limited this time of year). At the boat launch area you can rent boats, canoes and such! That is cool! Had we of come earlier we would have taking a row boat out. This is a great park for strollers and elders, really no inclines at all, but just a very pleasurable stroll. This was free, did not see any area where they would take money. Maybe in the summer months or deeper into the park itself? Like I said, as soon as we entered, we parked at the first parking area on the right.

lake if alright. There is usually a charge for parking. Lake offers fishing and other water activities. Trail is nicely maintained.

Really easy trail, stroller friendly (but there are some steep inclines). $3 to get in during the summer for parking, $30 for a season pass
