Sloan Peak Trail is a 15.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Darrington, Washington that offers the chance to see wildlife and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking and backpacking and is best used from May until November.

Sloan Peak is often referred to as the "Matterhorn of the Cascades." The standard route to the peak starts at Forest Service Road No. 48. Please note this routes involves snow and glacial climbing and some Class III rock scrambling.
