We stretched this trail out a bit to make it longer and it was great. We had wonderful views along the entire hike and saw several waterfalls. We also saw 5 black bears along the way, 2 solo bears and one mother with two cubs. There were a bunch of marmots about when we saw the first bear, and it was fun to watch them watch the bear and hear them whistling. This was the first time I've seem marmots act like this.

Three waterfalls and spectacular views. Deer, birds, marmots but no bears. Although a few others that we talked to did see bears. There was one stream where they are building a bridge, but at this time of year it was not a problem. I would plan for 4 hours if you have never been there. There were times when we would just stop and look.
