Fun scramble after the snow melts. But doing this "hike" in winter perforates some substantial avalanche slopes right in the middle, and violates Washington ski area (where it's located) law, putting you at high risk for a $1,000 fine...if you live. But go crazy!

Great hike to access Crystal Mountain South Back terrain. Access is via High Campbell chairlift then traversing along the ridge line towards Silver King and Avalanche Basin. Great views of Mt. Rainier
on a bluebird day.
