Very easy hike that gave wonderful views of the mountain. We also saw a fox during this hike. A wonderful way to end our day.

Maybe there will be more wildflowers later. The mountain is always pretty though. An easy hike for the kids.

We hiked the first ~1.2 miles roundtrip of this trail in late July -- just far enough that, turning around, we could easily take pictures of us with a wonderful unobstructed view of Mt Rainier that included the pretty turquoise lake near White River. The wildflowers were pretty, but no where near as abundant as at Paradise or Lake Tipsoo. The biting insects were voracious; we unfortunately learned that Picardin was ineffective -- DEET is necessary throughout this park.

Super easy hike, very flat. Worth it for the viewing area.

Breath taking views! Did this hike with 4 kids age, 1, 3, 5 and 7. They walked it all by themselves. Easy hike.

In late August, wildflowers were everywhere on this trail! I found this trail to have good views of Mount Rainier and the wildflowers were amazing. This trail is on the less visited side of the park near Sunrise Point. This trail was one of my favorite short treks of our vacation on Mount Rainier.
