Awesome short trail to see Silver Falls and the gorge below it on the Ohanapecosh

An easy hike, very few people, amazing waterfall. The parking isn’t well defined though, but it’s just after the creek bridge if headed north toward Paradise coming from Ohana area. The is a trail near the paved section off of the main road. You can do this trail in under 30 min. Very comparable to Narada falls with 98% less people. You have to go downhill to start, so the way back is tough on the uphill portion. The trail is easy to follow and it clearly marked if needed.

This was a great trail we did the the larger loop that connects to the Grove of the Patriarchs. We parked near the Ohanapecosh visitor center and started there. No dogs.

If, like me, you have a child who begrudges every extra step, this is probably the shortest way to hike in to see beautiful Silver Falls. The beginning is a little steep for a very young child, but it is easy going once you hit Silver Falls Trail.
