Saw lots of different mushrooms on the trail. And some beautiful trees. Crossed a few bridges and got a great view of the falls. Turned around after crossing the bridge that crossed the river. Ended up being a little over a 2 mile hike. Easy trail with a little elevation gain.

Lovely trail!! Can easily combine this trail with Grove of the Patriarchs (connects by crossing a road between the two). We went very slowly stopping and taking lots of photos.

Loved it! Great forest trails and bridges! Nice combination of ups & down that the kids were able to do it without too much complaining. The Silver Falls was awesome! The kids decided if we were mermaids that we would choose the lagoon as our home! Spectacular views on both sides of the viewing bridge of the falls.

Although it was difficult to find parking, this short and easy hike was enjoyable. My lady and I took lots of pics. This is a colorful hike, as stated in the other reviews. The water fall is beautiful. Be careful on the rocks by the waterfall because they are wet and you can slip.

So so pretty and a must on any visit to the Mt. Rainier area. The entire trail is picturesque and shaded with beautiful colors everywhere you look.

Amazing trail. Can be expanded to longer. God for all ages.

Great hike. A little shorter than the 4 miles listed in the description. I recorded 3.4 and that was with a couple scrambles down to the river and a quick trip up a side trail to the hot springs. Surprisingly not that busy - started around 2:30 PM on a Saturday in mid-August. My 5 and 4 year-olds had no issues and loved it. Will definitely do again!

amazing hike with gorgeous views. plenty of photographic opportunities... if you're patient. lots of people getting their picture taken with breath taking scenery. we only found one mosquito, so the bugs weren't a problem at all. the ups and downs were very mild, would like to come back again soon.

Shorter than 4 miles it’s more like 3, but very pretty well maintained trial. Definitely a good one if you have little ones. Very pretty too, great trail over all.

Beautiful trail through old forest. Lots of roots so watch your footing. Best view of the Falls is to cross the bridge down from the falls (Silver falls loop trail) and climb up to the top of the railing.

The Silver Falls Loop trail from the campground is a nice easy walk. The woods are nice and the falls I would rate a 3 out of 5 for scenery. I have a major complaint about disrespectful people who climb all over the falls and go off trail. It degrades the natural beauty of the scenery and prevents people from getting a photo without someone’s butt in the way or some hairy chested guy in the photo.

Easy trail with a beautiful water fall at the end. Highly recommend this trail if you’re staying in Ohanapecosh campground.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience. Great nature walk with beautiful views.

Big Bang for the buck with this one as far as ease and distance vs. the views. Such an incredible waterfall that is surrounded by several smaller falls that are beautiful in their own right.

Walked the loop and added Grove Of The Patriarchs in for fun. Started at the campground and walked anti clockwise around the loop. Seeing the waterfall first kept the kiddos motivated. Ages 5, 11 and 12. The falls are a hidden gem! RT was about 7.5 miles. No closures on the trail.

This trail is very well maintained, and it is right next to the visitor center so make that another stop! It is a short family friendly hike that offers stunning water views. Must do if you are in the area!

Amazing all around. Family of 6 made it in and out in 2 hours and 10 mins. Made plenty of stops to take it all in. Our 3 year old made it the whole way. One of the best trails I’ve ever been on.

This hike is INSIDE the Ohanapecosh Campground. Most directions will say that the trail is near the Ohanapecosh Visitor Center, which is located inside the campground. This was a good trail, but after already hiking all day, we were worn out.

The trail was well maintained and a little muddy near all the spots to take pictures from the rain. The falls provided very clear and blue waters.

Beautiful loop trail with a gorgeous waterfall. Well maintained and mostly shaded through the woods.

This is one of our favorite hikes to take out-of-towners on. It’s an easy hike with beautiful views and such bright glacier water. We’ve been in June and July. We prefer July when the waterfall is a little less powerful because it looks more teal!!

This hike is within the Ohanapecosh Campground. There is a visitor center there which is nice and available restrooms. This is an easy hike and very popular among kids and those camping in that area. Very beautiful views! Would definitely recommend.
