From Vancouver, north on 1-5 to Highway 503, exit 21. Drive east 35 miles to Forest Service Road 83. Turn left and drive 3.5 miles to Forest Service Road 81. Turn left and drive to Forest Service Road 8123. Turn right and drive to the signed trailhead at roads end.

We tried to get to this trail in our Honda CR-V and had to literally back down a steep rocky incline with ruts 2 feet deep and huge boulders. Parts of the "road" are barely large enough for 1 car. Blowdown everywhere and overgrown. Don't even dream of attempting to get to this trailhead unless you are driving a tank....that can fly.
