Unique experience for the family to get in a hot spring... and basque in the smell of sulfur. We had the trail and spring to ourself at 1030am on a Saturday but by the time we left the parking area at 1145, four more groups had shown up to the hike. The hot spring is about 15’ x 15’ wide so it might feel a little crowded with four groups arriving at once. Definitely worth the time to navigate the bumpy forest service roads if you are already in the area.

I love this walking trail. Perfect location for a quick drive and change of scenery for my boys. I love seeing how in awe they are of how big the trees are. Perfect for little kids and/or people with disabilities or physical limitations. The path is of good width, and boarded for wheelchair access .

So pleasant, perfect if you have little kids along. Didn't get any complaining about the length and the old growth forest is truly awesome. Boardwalks perfectly maintained, amazing variety of native plants. Directions are a little off though on All Trails...it's off of Baker Lake Hwy as a pulloff, not down the National Forest Road, if you get to Kulshan Campground, turn back around, go back to Baker Lake Hwy and it's just a little down the highway on the right.
