Saddlerock Trail is a 2.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Wenatchee, Washington that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Trail is clear of snow and ice. Tends to get muddy as the day warms up
Too much ice. Needed to have spikes but didn’t bring them. Almost fell 3 times so cut it short. Saw two deer though and got the heart rate up. Beautiful clear day.
Hard to see much at the top due to the fog. Fun trail. Found a glove in a puddle at the top.
Overcast, coldish, a little mud on the trail, but not bad. No wind at the top today, just a slight breeze, that was a little strange, lol. Saw a guy paraglide off the side while up at the top, pretty cool!
Lots of switch backs. Easy and identifiable trails, little to no signage. Relatively steep but not long.
Cold, breezy with a little snow. Some flakes coming down at the top too
Great hike! Awesome views at the top. It’s a popular spot, especially in the evening. Parking lot was full when I got down at 7pm.
The trail was pretty steep and dusty so it was a bit difficult hiking back down, but fortunately there are a lot of options of varying incline to take when hiking up to Saddle Rock. The 360 view from Saddle Rock is very impressive and you can see the entire town of Wenatchee as well as the rolling hills surrounding it.
I do this trek a few times per week, but have never rated it. So here I am: A steep, dusty, well maintained trail. There are many diverging trails you can take (which I recommend). It’s very barren in the hillsides, so pretty difficult to get lost. To get to the saddle look out (the top) it’s one mile. It typically takes me 15-20 minutes to get to the top, but you should definitely go at a comfortable pace for you. Limited shade combined with the heat can make the trek tougher. Heavily trafficked, especially in the evening. Beautiful views though, and always a quick/easy/killer workout! :)
