Got off trail. Went down a really steep and narrow backside. Still fun and a great workout!

Really nice view of Wenachee from this hike. We went at sunrise. Because he had no idea what we were doing and it was dark, we didn't follow the right trail, but it was still worth the short little hike for watching the sunrise.

Great butt burner and views first mile plus, backside and down into canyon trail has brush overgrown. Would be a good training route for trail run.

HikingNo shade

Not for the faint of heart. I have done this hike plenty of times and it never fails to give me the best workout because of how inclined it is. It is all uphill folks. Very little shade. The views are awesome. This trail is always highly trafficked, so go early. There is also another waypoint. After you reach the top of saddle rock keep going and you will find the swing. BE CAREFUL going on it! It’s pretty old now, so beware and cautious especially with kids. You do not need a pass to park either :)

Great moderate hike with exceptional view! The hike doesn’t take too long either being that it is a shorter hike. Would recommend! Hiked last week for the first time on a sunny day & had a great time :) Conditions were good.

Just a little change from the basic Saddlerock up and down. Keep your All Trails map open if you want to make this exact loop. There are quite a few trails in this area and the one you you have take to descend the ravine is not obvious. I tried it without the map the day before and ended up looping back to the main trail instead of the green shack trail.

Great trail network right in Wenatchee! I stopped for a quick outing on a drive from the west side to get the legs moving. I was thankful for a strong GPS signal and this app to keep me on track as some of the spur trails weren’t as obvious as I anticipated when I started.

I arrived here at 11AM, very hot day. Close to top of the hill , trail road was quite slippery. There were few tree trees so it is better to take shelter under a shade tree. I was able to see a good view.

My fh and I did this hike yesterday. It was hot and dry! We accidentally hiked up the face of the saddle, which was extremely steep for a novice but we took it slowly and stopped when needed for water breaks. We made it to the top of the saddle and really enjoyed congratulating each other as we relaxed and took the in the views. We took the road on the way down. It was still steep but infinity easier than the way up.
