Nice hike. Trees down in spots but easy to get over.

Swamp trail is great with kids. Really enjoyable. Download the map as there are parts that you can get turned around in. We had service the whole time so wasn’t a larger issue.

Trail was nice. Only a couple of muddy spots. Definitely download the map, there's so many trails it can get a bit confusing to figure out. I'd say about half the people we came across were masked, which was disappointing. Parking lot was packed at 1130am on a Sat but we found someone leaving and found a spot right away. Despite the lot being full, the trails were not congested.

Walking

Slightly overgrown in parts but mostly very clearly marked. A little crowded but not too bad. Great outing!

This was a good hike, that acted more like a walk for most parts. but it was long enough to get a little distance. I wanted a hike that my 6 year old and husband - 3 weeks post back surgery - could handle and this was a good one. No big "wow" like a waterfall but things to see along the way: 1) The Swamp Trail Story 2) The Big Tree 3) Bus The only negative was that there were a few points in between the big tree tail and the bus trail that we got a bit confused but we made it. Sunday morning, started at 10, the parking lot was busy but we didn't run into many people on the Swamp Trail or Big Tree tail. The Bus Trail was very busy but almost everyone was masked and courteous.

Muddy

Fun, short walking hike. Linked multiple trails together for a good five mile hike. Lots to see. Trail was pretty muddy in multiple locations, be aware.

Great trail run on the Bus Trail, Swamp Trail, and Brink Trail to do a whole loop. A little rocky with roots on the trail. Overall, night somewhat flat trail to run on.

Not the most adventurous or sightly trail I’ve done. But it’s great for trial running with the dogs. And the many interwinding trials make for an exciting unexpected trip every time.

A black bear wandered out onto the trail in front of us (maybe 20-30 feet). It was not aggressive but definitely gave us a start. Some other hikers we ran into said they'd had an unusually high amount of bear sightings this year—they'd also seen some bear cubs. As for the trail itself, it's more of a nice nature walk than a hike. Ideal for an easy hour or two in the woods if you connect to the surrounding trails. However, the trails in this region could be marked a little better.

Fairly easy trail, mostly flat. I definitely wouldn’t rate this as moderate compared to some of the others. There was a couple of confusing way points if you are unfamiliar with the trails here. Using the GPS on this app really helped. You will need a Discover Pass for this trail. Very pretty and covered and some cool stops along the way.

Easy hike, nice walk, our 16 month old even did a half mile of it. Used the tradition lake trail connector to finish with a view of the lake, which is alright from the trail. Nice sounds and sights at the wetlands on the smaller lake.
