This is a beautiful paved trail along Commencement Bay that is popular with cyclists, walkers, runners and children. Lots of parking lots along the route and lots of places to stop and eat along the water. Great route to get a taste of Old Tacoma.

I enjoy it when the bathrooms are open. The bathrooms have been closed for months due to the Plandemic. But it is a nice walk and you can see seals swimming.

Beautiful area with man made trails overlooking the water. Restaurants are abundant along the 6 mile trail if you want to get lunch. Lots of people run, walk, and bike the path. Very family friendly with big swatches of grass to play on.

Great walk, hard to find a parking spot though, had to park near a business. Very pretty, at 2 miles you should probably turn around, construction for 0.5 miles then you have to turn down the shopping area, if need be and you need to pee, head into the history museum. Busy road very loud, trains go buy and you can hardly relax or talk to your buddy.

A great trail to walk the dog on an early morning. Wide paved walk way. Stunning views over the water. A good amount of distance. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Though sometimes very busy.

Absolutely gorgeous run along the Puget Sound. The only reason I give it four out of five stars is the vehicular traffic. The trail itself had a lot of foot traffic as well, but that’s to be expected on such a gorgeous run and a beautiful day. This trail is right along a busy road and many times you run straight through exhaust smoke and the noise of the vehicles can overpower your headphones.

Gorgeous busy city trail. Go expecting quiet and you'll be disappointed, bit if you want great views of Mt Rainier and Tacoma's residents, enjoy. Good running path because you can keep it flat or add hills to suit. I like grabbing my kids and our rollerblades. (And a beer on a deck...)

Easy walk. Crowded at that time making it a little difficult for running. Nice view of the bay. Would go again but maybe at earlier time to avoid crowds if want to bank miles of running.
