Parked in the Bowman Bay lot near the Interpretive Center. The trail entrance is in the grassy area the lines the beach - all the way to the right. Sort of poorly marked. The trail begins with an uphill climb and then goes around the perimeter of the cliffs overlooking the Bay. Incredible views! Goes all the way to Rosario Head where there is another beach with neat tidepools. We took our 5 & 2 year olds. Definitely tough for the 2 year old ended up carrying him most of the way. Made me a little nervous on some of the cliffs but overall a beautiful short hike.

HikingGreat!Off trail

An easy 30-minute walk through the woods with beautiful lookout points over the water. This trail connects the parking lots between Rosario Beach and nearby Lighthouse Point, but don't let that deter you from walking this trail as there is a little island you can cut off to mid-way along the main trail. From there, you'll see a great all-encompassing view of the water and surrounding beaches.

This trail was super clean. The road to the trailhead is closed so I parked at Bowman Bay and walked over. Warning: Bowman Bay STINKS. The entire beach besides a sliver at the far end near the Rosario trail is covered in seaweed. I was actually surprised how full the parking lot was. Maybe everyone’s face masks covered up the smell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Besides that I’d definitely recommend the trail. Be sure to dip down into Sharpe Cove and Rosario Beach. It’s beautiful and you may find a piece of sea glass or two.

Hard to find the trail head but once we did was fairly easy but there is a steep beginning. Beautiful views.

This hike gets annoying at times with the bees while you try to eat and some people who arkwardly pass by you and different trails that doesn’t make sense. This hike was okay

Absolutely gorgeous. An easy, short hike with an unbelievable payoff. So many vistas: open water, beaches, rocky outcrops.

Took my dog hiking on sunny day March 5th,2019 from Rosario Headland to the Lighthouse at Bowman. Gorgeous views all around. We did about 5 miles go and back. It was lovely.

Perfect short hike for kids and/or dogs. Nothing difficult, with beautiful views, so it's not easy not to want to stop regularly to take it in. some cliff areas for those with height issues.
