Loads of asphalt... pure asphalt. Not great for hikers... if you use some of the feeder trails, there are beautiful trails with canyons and great climbing spots to scout out, but a pretty lame hike, especially in the heat of the day. You'll just cook. However, river is beautiful. I would rate this easy. Nothing moderate about it except the heat aspect. Early or later in the day is much better. Great for bikes, strollers, wheelchairs and ATV's...

Great hike with kids, we camped there three nights and enjoyed our time. Perfect location right in the middle of town.

Went last weekend 4/4 (?)
It was HEAVILY trafficked. Tons of people, families and many dogs on and off of leashes. If you live in the area it's something we all should see, if not it may disappoint some.
