HikingGreat!

Nice, easy trail. Good Forrest. Easy to get to. Only negative is, it’s close to residential, which you wouldn’t know, except of the power tools home owners were using. Would hike it again.

Didn’t follow the trail because I came across a sign stating entering bear/mountain lion territory and I was hiking alone. So I chickened out but it was amazing a bunch of trails so bring a map with you. Residential area where I started so I parked in front of a house

Very nice hike! A little elevation change but nothing too difficult. Path gets single-person narrow in a few spots but it was never a problem. Today is Sunday but we only ran into 2 other people on the path so it was like we had the trail all to ourselves

I hiked this about a month ago with my 10-year old. Feels secluded even though it's surrounded by residential areas. Quiet, not many people on a weekday. My bit of advice is to bring a map (print or download ahead of time, or take screenshots, rather than GPS which will use more battery). Near the end of our hike my phone battery started to die, but I had to keep checking the GPS map because there some unmarked intersecting trails and a couple times my intuition for which way to go was wrong. Thankfully we did fine, but the potential was there to get pretty lost.

so it is moderate as it says. I'm totally beginner and it was a little bit hard, proceed with caution. there are snakes if you are scared of them dont go.

Use the map and track with GPS or you will get lost. There are many interconnecting trails - even with phone GPS you may have to back track. Most of the elevation gain is in short segments. It’s closer to 5 miles if you are following the map, not 3.9. The trail is lovely but still super muddy at this time. Lots of wildflowers in bloom!

Great easy to moderate hike. Only challenging part was approaching the summit of Mt Cedar. Otherwise, the hike did not include much elevation gain. Although the trails were near residential areas, you felt like you were deep in the woods. Only saw a few people on the trail.

Make sure you have the map. Too confusing otherwise. Great hike and pretty close to main roads. If you enter from Three Lakes Loop N, you’ll find more parking

Amazing hike with a great view to relax at. Definitely go right when you get to that first fork in the road on the trail, it’ll be less steep that way. I recommend a blanket to sit down on at the summit with a snack

Quite a few changes and new trails that are not on the map, but overall not a bad solo trail to hike. Did not encounter too many people along the way.

This hike was confusing because there are so many little trails that run back and forth along the main trail so I had to stop and look at the map quite a bit. Foggy day so no view but still a fun little hike.

Just ok. . Nice enough view but the elevation isn’t high enough to make it a good view. Not the best cardio but ok.

Overall, this is a really great trail. There is a good mix of incline and flat areas and a few beautiful views at the top. I only saw one other person during the entire hike so if you are like me and don’t like to see people on hiking trails, this is the trail for you. Honestly, I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t so hard to stay on the recommended path. There were so many turnoffs so I really had to pay attention to where I was going.

Awesome trail for jogging with my pup, even a really nice view of mount rainier at a little summit point. Very quiet.
