Landslide about 7 miles in. But still has decent beach access. Just not a 4 wheel drive kind of trail

Easy gravel road; if your car can handle pot holes it will have no problem at least during the dry months. Great views of the river. There is also a boat access spot. There is 7 miles of trail open (one way). Not very busy. Could easily park and get to the river in one or two places.

Very secluded didn’t see a single person while we were there. We got to see a herd of Elk which was AMAZING and why I rated 4 stars. Otherwise not much on the road didn’t get to go all the way through it was closed so had to turn back.

Great location. Not too crowded.

AS OF JUNE 16, 2017 TWO-THIRDS OF THE TRAIL IS CLOSED. The portion we were able to explore is quite lovely...but not sure I'd make the drive back to see the rest...
