Quartz Creek Big Trees Trail is a 0.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Morton, Washington that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

From Randle, drive south 1 mile on Highway 131 to Forest Service Road 25. Stay to the right and drive 8 miles to Forest Service Road 26. Turn right and drive 8 miles to Forest Service Road 2608. Turn left and drive 1.5 miles to the signed trailhead on the right.

Amazing old growth forest!

This is a gem hidden deep in the forests north of St. Helens. It's a short, easy trail that features some ancient douglas fir trees that are redwoods/sequoia size.

It's really magical. And happens to be wheelchair accessible.
