I'm not sure how to change the map for this trail, but it is much longer than 1.7 miles. Has views of the Cedar River, crosses many other named trails, and crosses several roads, two. I scared a few elk and encountered more than few horseback riders. Its a nice easy trail that is a single path and grown over in places. At times it is not well marked and only because I've been walking and riding it for several years do I know it so well. I have it at 6.3 miles long in a complete loop.
